Can I use my riding mower to pull a trailer or spreader?
Yes, most electric riding tractors come with a rear hitch. The EGO TR4204 has sufficient torque to pull standard garden trailers filled with mulch or soil. However, be aware that towing heavy loads will reduce your mowing runtime. We recommend doing your hauling tasks on a separate charge from your mowing sessions.
Why is 600D polyester better than 210D for a mower cover?
The “D” stands for Denier, which measures the thickness of the individual threads. 210D is lightweight and can tear easily when snagged on the metal edges of a mower deck. 600D is roughly three times thicker, providing much better puncture resistance and a higher level of waterproofing. For a machine with an electronic dashboard, the extra protection is vital to prevent “LCD fogging” or short-circuits.
Are “toy” mowers like the Kid Trax useful for anything besides play?
While they aren’t tools, they serve a significant role in developing “spatial awareness” and mechanical coordination. Learning to operate a dual-lever zero-turn system can be difficult for adults; starting kids on a 12V version at age 3-7 builds the muscle memory needed for the real equipment later in life.
